I was the lead designer of the J.D. Power and Webby award winning JetBlue app while at Possible Mobile. This large scale project involved UI, UX, motion design, user testing and research, and building a mobile design system (in two phases). Software tools include Sketch, InVision, Omnigraffle, Zeplin, and Photoshop.
In this first phase we re-designed the entire app to improve the UX and create a consistent design system. Major views include the Home, My Trips, Booking, Check-in, and Flight Tracker. Explore the Booking prototype on InVision!
As a new feature for iOS 13, I created an alternate version of the major app views in Dark Mode to help save phone battery life and ease eye strain.
We pitched the Trip Guide as one major feature for our phase 2 design improvements strategy. It is a day of travel companion for users when preparing for their trip, walking through the airport, journeying inflight, and arriving at their destination. Be sure to play the animation video above.
After the iPhone designs were approved, I ported them to Android to fit its native components and material design UX. Android includes the same features as iOS and new ones such as Live Chat and Biometrics Entrollment during Check-in.
I also designed a universal app adaptation for iPad using iOS size classes. The layouts utilize the extra screen real estate for multitasking and ease of use.
